Expert DOJO is committing $5 million fund to invest in early-stage African startups over the next 6-months. Expert DOJO will host the Africa-only cohort this September, marking the beginning of a long-term commitment.

This comes after Expert DOJO hosted a number of African startups in recent programs including: Akiba, BokDoc, Klasha, KovaDx, Marj3, StarNews Mobile, and ThankUCash.

Expert DOJO is the third most active accelerator in the US (after TechStars and YC). What sets it apart is its commitment to minority and female founded companies - this represents 75% of its total investments to date. Expert DOJO invests in founders from across the globe with extraordinary skills, resilience and grit rather than privilege.
